Jalapeno RED Chilli
Originally from Mexico, South America where they are used in the various local dishes that need the flavour of chilli but not per se the heat of a hot dish. You can use this chilli fresh of course but also dried or powder it and make a paprika like powder out of it.
The heat level of this chilli is mild. Will do well in salads, great in a sandwich wrap or any Mexican, Italian style cooking which needs some nice red colour for the looks and not too much heat.
A must for your veggie patch and, once ripped, for your BBQ.
The chilli pods go from green to red over time. When fully grown the Jalapeno Chilli can grow up to 70 – 90 cm high and you should be able to get a lot of fresh fruit during the chilli season which lasts approximate 4 to 6 months.

Jalapeno BLACK Chilli

The heat level of this chilli is quiet mild in comparaison to the RED Jalapeno.
Perfect to dry and smoke them Chipotle style !
The chilli pods go to a really impressive shiny black. Perfect for your Chilli Con Carne or for any Tex-Mex cuisine.
This plant can reach 65 cm in height up to a meter and will give you a lot of fruits (around 8 cm long) during the chilli season which lasts approximate 4 to 6 months.
