Habanero Pimenta Luna
Originally from South America, Brasil. AKA: Pimenta de Cheiro (Luna), also very close in look but NOT in heat as the Pimenta de Cheiro Grande.
Although from the same family as the other Habanero’s the heat level of this chilli is mild. Not much heat in there so mainly used as a decoration in your salads or have it same as you would use capsicum… great as a lunchbox snack.
When fully grown, the habanero plant can reach up to around 1m tall. It produces heavy yields of 3cm long by 2cm wide wrinkled hot peppers which turn cream / light orange when mature. It gets really bushy and wide as well and lots and lots of fruit… and you should.
