Chilli Scallops and Prawn Kebabs

Chilli Scallops and Prawn Kebabs
  • 4 tablespoons of Dragon's Blood (Bloody Hot Stuff!! SHU 36,000)
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1kg large green prawns
  • 250gr scallops


  1. Mix garlic, ginger, Dragon's Blood, soy sauce, tomato paste, sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Peel prawns and de-vein, leaving tails on.
  3. Clean the scallops.
  4. Add prawns and scallops to the marinade.
  5. Cover and marinate for 20 minutes.
  6. Thread prawns and scallops on flat metal skewers.
  7. Cook on hotplate for 4 to 5 minutes baste whilst cooking.
